In 1989 at the age of 16 Dave Fuchs wandered over to the local airport wanting to learn to fly. Soon after the guys he met had him doing all kinds of dirty jobs around the DZ to pay for his new passion skydiving.
This set him up for his career in aviation maintenance and getting the Pilot’s license that led him to the airport in the first place.
Then were the dark years. He spent almost 18 years on the ground looking up until 2012 he had enough and emerged back in the sport. Slowly gaining speed he has been enjoying his time with RW, free fly, tracking and hybrids. Getting a coach rating and a D license in 2016 Dave is looking forward to continuing to grow in the sport.
Dave especially enjoys working with new skydivers taking them from student to competent and confident fun jumper. Always up for something fun but keeping safety in the forefront.
It is such an honor to be invited to be part of such a dynamic team! I enjoy putting together some fun skydives that challenge my friends as we take to the skies together. I hope to serve as a resource helping the club and its members grow. I have a back to the basics approach to build solid foundations.
